Worship is the heart of West Des Moines United Methodist Church.  We believe that worship is essential to our personal and community faith formation.  Through worship, we participate in the birth, teachings, life, suffering, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ.  It shapes us into authentic disciples of Jesus Christ.

It is our intent and desire to use a variety of worship experiences, styles, and methods to help each person be drawn into a deeper personal commitment to Jesus Christ in their daily life.

Come as you are. We honor and welcome the diversity you bring.

The Great Thanksgiving (Holy Communion) – is served on the first Sunday of each month

The United Methodist Church practices open Holy Communion, which means that the table is open to all persons regardless of religious affiliations or age.  We serve grape juice out of respect for those who could not partake if we served wine.
