SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICES AT 8:30 A.M. AND 11:00 A.M.
Worship is the heart of West Des Moines United Methodist Church. We believe that worship is essential to our personal and community faith formation. Through worship, we participate in the birth, teachings, life, suffering, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ. It shapes us into authentic disciples of Jesus Christ.
It is our intent and desire to use a variety of worship experiences, styles, and methods to help each person be drawn into a deeper personal commitment to Jesus Christ in their daily life.

At 11:00 a.m. we gather at tables in the Friendship Room, bring our coffee with us and get to know one another a little more. We may look casual, but we are very serious about following as Jesus’ disciples.
The Great Thanksgiving (Holy Communion) – served the first Sunday of each month
The United Methodist Church practices open Communion, which means that the table is open to all persons regardless of religious affiliations or age. We serve grape juice out of respect for those who could not partake if we served wine.
