The center of the service is “It is Finished”, by Mary McDonald. It features a 10-piece orchestra with our all-volunteer choir comprised of area UMC congregations, including ours! The piece features a solemn musical expression of Jesus’ journey to the cross, culminating in a beautiful arrangement of “Were You There?” This year, Maggie Schatzberg of Walnut Hills UMC will direct the music. If you’re able to stay after the service’s silent conclusion, we need many hands to reset the chancel to be ready to celebrate Easter Sunday!
