WEST DES MOINES UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
Come as you are. We honor and welcome the diversity you bring.
Please pray this prayer each day
God, you give us life. When we might give up or give in, you refresh our lives. When we wonder or worry about the way ahead, you sustain us with life-giving wisdom. May the plans we make today be our way of saying thank you. May our work bring life-giving grace to others. The world so desperately needs the life you offer. Amen.

Good morning, everyone, How are you? I know the standard “Iowa-nice” response is “fine” whether we are or not. If you asked me today how I am, I would say I am doing some real heart-searching. Before the pandemic, I thought I knew who I was, and who God was, and...
Good morning friends! The church has changed. We’ve been forced to. There have been some wonderful things to come out of this new way of doing church yet we still hold on to all that holds meaning from the way things were. We don’t know exactly how this will impact...
