It is not the destination, it is the journey that is important. Moses’ journey lasted forty years; God didn’t let him reach his final destination. God is faithful and just; Israel is called to remember His saving acts, remain loyal, and pass His covenant teachings to future generations, because their life and blessing depend on it.
