Carol Hammond was born in Corydon and has lived in Centerville, IA and Bartlesville, OK. She moved to the Des Moines area in 1986. She and her husband Jeff have two children, Steven and Elizabeth.
Carol began her job as Financial Secretary in August of 2003. She is responsible for money and non-cash gifts received, contribution records, stewardship campaign reporting, and maintaining memorial gift records. Her favorite part of the job is the cooperative atmosphere at the church.
Carol has a B.A. in Systems and Business Management from Central College in Pella and an M.B.A. from Drake University. Prior job experience includes working as a programmer and systems analyst for Phillips Petroleum Company, Principal Financial and the State of Iowa, as well as as a Development Strategist for the ITA Group.
Carol especially enjoys her kids' activities, reading, and music.
