Rev. Dr. Barrie M. Tritle joined our staff in June 2004 as our Lead Pastor. He previously served as the Cedar Rapids District Superintendent, Senior Pastor at Burlington First UMC, Associate Pastor at West Des Moines UMC, Pastor at Sheridan Park and Capitol Heights UMCs, Associate Pastor at Clinton First UMC. 

Pastor Barrie holds a Doctor of Minsitry from Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminar, a Master of Divinity from Candler School of Theology Emory Univeristy, BA from Morningside College. 

Barrie's wife is Kae and she is a RN at Methodist Hospital and the Wellness Coordinator for the Iowa Annual Conference. They have three grown sons Josh, Jake, and Mike and one grandson Preston.
