Our Mission: to integrate our faith into our daily lives. We believe in the value of nurturing individuals in their christian faith. We strive to provide a sense of belonging through fellowship, friendship and support. We seek ways to reach out and minister in the love of Christ.
Who We Are: We come from a variety of backgrounds, occupations and age ranges, but form a cohesive and caring group.
What We Learn: Our Sunday morning classes are lively, educational, inspirational and diverse. Formats include presentations, class discussion, video, small group discussion. Class facilitators may be class members, clergy, or guests. Subject matter covers social concerns, lifestyle issues, Bible study, community agencies or current issues.
How We Care: We care for our church by purchasing needed items, decorating the Sanctuary for Christmas, helping maintain the building and grounds. We care for others by adopting a needy family at Christmas time, raising funds for our missions through activities such as the poinsettia sale and omelet breakfasts and the fall coat drive. We care for one another by helping each other in times of adversity, by providing meals in times of need, by offering comfort and support and by sharing joys and concerns.
How We Socialize: Monthly social events include a wide variety of activities which offer Christian fellowship and opportunities to build friendships. Past activities have inclouded: family picnics, sports events, theater performances, scavenger hunts, game nights, theme parties, progressive dinners and road rallies.
