Bidwell Riverside Center builds hope by providing food, clothing, childcare and education to people in need.  It is supported in part by the General Division, Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church.  Substantial support also comes from United Methodist Women, Iowa United Methodist Conference, churches of many denominations, and individual memberships.

Annuall provide gifts and food to over 600 families.

Providing for Des Moines' south side emergency food needs.

Shampoo, soap, baby care items.

Free Clothing/Household Items
Available to victims of disasters or anyone without financial resources.

Emergency Financial Help
Utility disconnects, rent assistance
