Mission of the Group
To keep older members of our congregation in touch with the Church and to keep the pastoral staff and church informed and in touch with those who are not able to attend church functions.
Responsibilities of the Group
Make visits to the assigned "friend" as least once each month and report back to the meeting or to the pastor assigned to this ministry area.
Create the list of people who may enjoy an In Touch contact.
Make sure those people receive visits.
Provide a training once a year to recruit new ministry volunteers.
Hold a special service to consecrate the ministry team each year.
Attend and report to the Membership Nurture Church Council.
Visit the members
Report back to the pastor in charge of this ministry area on the monthly visit.
