The "8th & Grand Slammers" is the name of our co-ed softball team. We'd like to think that's because we hit all sorts of grand slams, but that's probably only happened once.

Obviously, 8th & Grand alludes our church location. And we play in a recreation league that doesn't include many other church teams, so we try to exhibit the very best in Christian values and have fun at the same time.
